In aircraft refurbishment, there is a moment when a project stops looking like a work in progress and starts looking intentional. Phase 2 is that moment.
With the primer now fully applied, the SOLJETS Edition has entered a critical stage of transformation. What was once raw structure and prep work is now a clean, unified surface ready to carry the identity of the aircraft.

Primer is not just cosmetic. It is the technical foundation that determines how the final finish will perform and appear over time. Every surface you see has been meticulously prepped, cleaned, and coated to ensure proper adhesion and long-term durability.
At this stage, imperfections are not hidden, they are intentionally exposed. Technicians carefully inspect every inch of the aircraft, sanding, smoothing, and refining until the surface is flawless. The uniform gray finish you see is a sign of precision, not completion. It represents control over every detail before the design is permanently locked in.

The real story begins with the lines.
The striping laid across the fuselage is not decoration. It is planning brought into the physical world, measured, engineered, and executed with precision. Each line is carefully measured, taped, and adjusted to complement the aircraft’s natural geometry.
On a jet like this, nothing is flat. Every contour, from the curvature of the nose to the sweep of the fuselage, demands exact alignment. A line that looks straight on paper must be engineered to appear straight across a constantly changing surface.
The goal is simple: when the final paint is applied, the design should feel effortless, as if it has always belonged to the aircraft.

From the nose to the tail, the identity of the SOLJETS Edition is beginning to take shape.
The sweeping lines introduce a sense of motion even while the aircraft is stationary. They guide the eye across the fuselage, accentuating its aerodynamic profile while establishing a refined and modern presence.
This is where branding meets engineering. Every curve is intentional. Every transition is calculated. The design is not simply applied, it becomes part of the aircraft’s form.

Beyond the fuselage, individual components are being finished with the same level of precision.
Winglets, panels, and exterior elements are painted separately to ensure optimal coverage and finish quality. This controlled environment allows for a deeper, more consistent gloss, particularly important for darker tones where imperfections are more visible.
Each piece must ultimately align perfectly with the aircraft, both visually and physically. When reassembled, there can be no variation in tone, texture, or reflection.

One of the most critical steps in this phase is flipping the aircraft.
This process allows technicians to access the underside of the fuselage—an area just as important as the top surfaces but far more difficult to reach. The flip ensures that striping, paint transitions, and surface quality remain completely consistent around the entire aircraft.
It’s a complex and carefully executed maneuver, requiring precision handling and planning. But it’s essential. Without it, achieving a seamless, uninterrupted design would be impossible.
This is where craftsmanship extends beyond painting and into the execution of the entire process.
Inside the hangar, the setting still reflects the work in progress.
Ladders, masking materials, and protective coverings surround the aircraft. Surfaces are taped, edges are defined, and components are staged for the next step. To an untrained eye, it may look incomplete.
But beneath that controlled chaos, the transformation is undeniable.
The SOLJETS Edition is no longer just being worked on, it is clearly starting to come together.

Phase 2 is about discipline and precision.
Every correction made now prevents compromise later. Every line placed now ensures alignment in the final result. This stage demands patience, experience, and an uncompromising standard for detail.
Because when the final paint is applied, there is no adjustment—only outcome.
And that outcome is being built, line by line, right here in this phase.
