A Lifelong Love of Aviation

Pericles’ journey in aviation began with his father, who shared his love for WWII aircraft models. “That’s really where it all started,” he reflects. From meticulously assembling model planes to piloting full-scale aircraft, his passion grew steadily. He moved on to remote-controlled aircraft and eventually earned his pilot’s license—steps that felt like a natural progression in a life destined for the skies.

His first private jet experience was a dramatic introduction: flying a Citation Sovereign+ demonstrator to Patagonia during his very first day on the job at Textron Aviation. “I’ll never forget it. That flight wasn’t just about reaching a destination—it was about understanding how powerful and personal this industry can be,” he says. That day lit a fire that continues to fuel him years later.

Even now, he dreams of piloting historic legends like the P-51 Mustang or the Supermarine Spitfire—aircraft that symbolize not just technical marvels, but freedom, adventure, and a deep respect for aviation history.

Grounded in What Matters

Outside the cockpit and conference room, Pericles is equally passionate about staying grounded—literally and figuratively. His ideal day off involves a mix of flying, family, and nature. “If I can combine the outdoors with the people I love and flying, that’s the sweet spot,” he says with a smile.

His adventurous spirit carries over into his travel dreams as well. He has his sights set on some of the world’s most breathtaking and culturally rich destinations, including Bhutan, Costa Rica, Spain’s Andalusia, and Japan. These aren’t just vacation spots—they represent a lifelong curiosity and desire to connect with the world on a deeper level.

Surprising to some, Pericles is also a music enthusiast. “I love picking up the acoustic guitar or harmonica when I can,” he shares. “There’s something meditative about it.” It’s a creative outlet that complements the precision and intensity of aviation with something more soulful and introspective.

In his role at SOLJETS, Pericles has found the perfect intersection of his talents and values. As part of our sales and acquisitions team, he brings not just skill, but sincerity. “What I love most about my work is developing long-term relationships,” he explains. “It’s incredibly rewarding to know that people trust you—not just with a transaction, but with their long-term goals.”

His work philosophy is grounded in the belief that aviation is about connection—connecting people, communities, and opportunities. “Private aviation is more than luxury—it’s a powerful tool for progress. Whether it’s a business deal that needs a face-to-face handshake or a family reuniting across borders, we help make those moments possible.”

One of the experiences that impacted him the most wasn’t even a completed deal. It was a phone call from a client simply seeking advice. “They weren’t ready to make a move,” he recalls, “but they trusted me to give them honest feedback. That meant everything. That’s what integrity looks like in action.”

Pericles also has a heart for mentorship. His advice to newcomers in the aviation world is simple but profound: “If this is your passion, persevere. Network. Keep learning. And always look for ways to add value. This industry thrives on passion and purpose.”
