SOLJETS, a boutique business aircraft brokerage firm, has hired Mr. Nathan “Nate” Metzler, MBA, to join its growing USA-based sales team. Metzler comes on board as the firm’s California-based Executive Sales Director after having been in the business aviation environment for nearly two decades.
“Nate has a distinctive ability to match aircraft to client by combining his industry acumen and comprehensive understanding of business aircraft capabilities”, said Matt Stringfellow, Cofounder and Partner of SOLJETS. “We’re excited to have Nate impart his knowledge and experience from his various roles to the rest of the SOLJETS team, and ultimately serve our Clientele with the high degree of service for which SOLJETS is known.”
Mr. Metzler has held aviation sales roles of progressively increased responsibility over the past 15 years, both in private (FAA Part 91) and commercial (Part 135) operational environments. Prior to joining SOLJETS, Metzler was managing training programs for Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault, and Gulfstream business jet operators. He holds a Private Pilot’s License, with experience in airplanes, sailplanes, floatplanes, and hang gliders — including his all-time favorite, the P-51D Mustang.
As an Executive Sales Director, Metzler will continue SOLJETS’ customized and personal approach to client aircraft brokerage and acquisitions, focusing on the sales of light and midsize turbine aircraft.
