Turboprop aircraft rely on gas turbine (jet engine) to drive a propeller.  Turboprops are known to be reliable, comfortable and versatile for single pilot or crew operation. For shorter distances, and at low altitudes (between 20,000 to 30,000 feet), turboprops offer greater fuel efficiency than jets. A huge advantage of turboprop engine is the ability to operate into shorter runways than jets, offering owners access to far more airports.
